Questions about connecting to the site

Before gaining access, have you provided your email address to the school?

This information is required to create a link between you and your child’s record. You must provide your email address to each school attended by one of your children. Once it has been entered into the school’s database, you will be able to connect.

IMPORTANT: You must use the same email address for every child in order to be able to view all their records.

Why haven't I received my validation code?

The email (sent by Microsoft) may have gone to your junk folder.

Where can I find the information needed to associate my child with my account?

Name of the school board

If you do not know the name of the school board to which your child’s school belongs, visit the Ministry of Education website at www.education.gouv.qc.ca (after switching to the English version, click on "Find a School" in the "Accès rapides" section).

Your child’s first and last names

Be sure to enter your child’s complete first and last names as they appear in his or her school record. Do not use nicknames or shortened versions, and be sure to enter all the surnames that appear in the student record.

Your child’s student number or permanent code

This information can be found on official documents issued by the school or school board (report cards, timetables, student cards, etc.). The student number is composed of up to 7 digits. The permanent code comprises 12 characters (the first 3 letters of the last name and the first letter of the first name followed by 8 digits). You may enter either one of these identification codes.

Why can't I view my children's records from a social media account (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)?

Your social media account must use the same email address as the one provided to the school.
